The scene opens up inside Ashleigh Martin's locker room where she is stood infront of a sink, looking into a mirror. The camera focuses on her reflection, showing she's got a bruised upper lip aswell as a black eye beginning to form. She turns the cold tap on and lets it run for a while before scooping some water up with her hands and splashing it on her face. She looks up into the mirror and turns her gaze on the camera before speaking.
'The Ghetto Princess' Ashleigh Martin: "I knew that this profession would get hard at times, and, I've got to admit, last night was the hardest night so far. Hell, who knows what would of happened if Hardy hadn't of distracted Mike Maddox.. I might not be standing here just one match away from being the first ever Disorderly Conduct champion. I like to think I would have found a way out on my own, but his presence certainly made it easier. But, thats what happens in the game we call wrestling. If you take your eyes off the prize then your gonna get beat, and Mike should never of let himself get distracted like that. The way he's been talking about recently has shown his obsession. I was probably the first thing he thought about when he woke up, and the last thing he thought about before he went to sleep. Yet, when he had the opportunity to put me away, he messed up. Mike, you should of stayed focused, I was just one more big move away from giving up and then you could of beat me. You could of shown the whole world I made a mistake turning you down but instead you made an even bigger mistake then me, and it's cost you the chance at gold."
"Now, some people think I should be thanking Hardy for his help but let me tell you now, thats not going to happen. I didn't ask for his help, and, no matter what it looked like, I didn't NEED his help. Now no matter what I do, there will always be some doubt as to whether I could of beat Maddox fairly. There will always be that, 'what if?'. And thats not the way I wanted it to end between us two. Because despite your arrogance, and your bullshit comments, you deserve more then that. You deserve to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that I am better then you. That all your training is obsolete, that every day you spent working your ass off to get far in this business is worthless, because someone like me, someone who has just come straight from the streets into this business, is already a much better competitor then you'll ever be. So I hope that at some point during this match it boils down to just me and you, so I can show everyone it wasn't a fluke and that I don't need anyones help to beat you. Because I know that until I do, you'll always be there with something to say. Telling me how much of a better man than Dirk you are, or telling me that you'll take my unconcsious body out on a date."
"Like, seriously? How is this man not on the FBI's most wanted list? They need to send someone to check his DNA because the way he's talking, you'd think he'd have a gold medal in raping. Talking about how he's going to 'touch my sweet spot' and how theres 'nothing I can do about it', fuck Mike, what would we find in your locker room? A years supply of Chloroform and a subscription to Rohypnol weekly, no doubt. If we took away all the unconcsious girls you've slept with, as well as the ones who have been drugged or plied with alcohol, how many actual living, breathing girls have you slept with? I'm guessing the answer is just one, Jenny Enigma. 'Cause that bitch is desperate. Anyway, before I get too into your personal life, let me tell you a few things that won't be happening. First of all you won't be changing my mind about going out on a date with you. You didn't last week, you won't this week and neither will you if we ever meet again. Secondly you won't be touching my 'sweet spot' at any point during the match. And don't think about trying your luck, because if you do anything to me that is more for your pleasure than my pain, I'll sue your ass for sexual harrasment. And thats AFTER I hand out my own personal punishment. And finally, you definately won't be walking out of this match with a win. There's just too much going against you. I've already been in a match with you so I know how you move and I know what I've got to do to counter that. Then, whenever I get bored of beating you around the ring, I can tag in my six foot six partner and let him deal with you for a while. And to top it all off your own partner doesn't even like you. The odds are stacked against you Mike, and I don't think you'll overcome them. Sure, you can look at my partner and bring up the fact he's my opponent at Disorder, but he's never cost me my match. He's never REALLY gave me a reason to dislike him, so I hope, for this one match, we can get along. If not.."
She leans down towards the sink and scoops some water into her mouth. As she's drinking she thinks about 'Escalation Of Force' and how nice it would be to go into her match with another win under her belt. She then thinks about Disorder and how her partner will be, will he want to carry on his winning streak as well, or will he want just want to hurt her no matter the outcome of the match, to weaken her for the big showdown. She stops and turns the tap off before speaking again.
'The Ghetto Princess' Ashleigh Martin: "Well, I'll just have to deal with him at the pay per view. Scorpion, you've looked very impressive since you got here and I know that our match will be a showstealer, but for one night I need to know your on my side. I need to know your fighting the same cause as I am because I don't want to go into that match having to look over my shoulder. I know your trying to prove to everyone that you can still wrestle and that you deserve to be in the ring, and the only way to do that is by winning as many matches as you can. So lets not mess this up by getting at each others throats. Let's just get this over with, let's show Maddox and Hardy exactly why where the finalists in the Disorderly Conduct tournament by beating them and then, as soon as the bells gone, you can do whatever you want to me. I know you outweigh me by over a hundred and thirty pounds and that your over a foot taller than me, and I know when I'm against you it's going to be damn near impossible to beat you, but for this night I need you."
"If we can get along then I know we've got this match in the bag, but be warned, this match is going to be harder then the ones you've already had. The first guy you went up against was a joke, you even said it yourself, and AJ Flare wasn't much better. These two will put up more of a fight but it's nothing we can't handle if we stick together. I promise you now that I've got your back in this match one hundred percent, and don't think just because I'm a girl I won't be doing my fair share. I may not be able to bring as much strength as anybody else, but theres no one in that match thats quicker than I am. And we'll use that to our advantage. With your power and my speed we'll make a powerfull team, and I know that Maddox and Hardy won't be able to match us."
She finishes her sentence before turning around to face the camera. The reflection in the mirror now shows the back of her body and, even underneath her hair, you can see a nasty bump on her head as well as scratchmarks around her shoulders. She begins to talk.
'The Ghetto Princess' Ashleigh Martin: "Hardy, I don't know why you got involved in my match and I'm not even going to question it. Mike Maddox is a very unlikeable person and thats good enough reason for anyone. But couldn't you of waited until after the match? Now all I'm going to be thinking in the back of my head is 'did I deserve that win'? There's always going to be an asterisk next to that result and for that reason, and that reason only, I don't like you. You ruined my chance of straightening this feud out once and for all, just so you can start one of your own! You stole the spotlight from me on what was going to be my greatest night so far in Prestige Wrestling. But this night will be different. You won't be able to steal my shine, because the only way you could do that is by winning, and that just aint gonna happen!"
"After Disorder went off air, I decided to do a little research on you. I wanted to know who you are and whether you make a habit of sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. I wanted to know everything about you, but, after spending a little time reading up on you, I decided I knew enough. I don't need to know your full history, all I needed to know was the important bits like, lets say, your past injuries. Three broken bones in your face, and you broke your right arm and six ribs all in one night? I don't know whether to be worried or happy. 'Cause on one hand someone could look at your injuries and think 'this guy does whatever it takes to win' but on the other they're thinking 'this guy needs a new career choice'. 'Cause you don't get injuries like that by being the best, do you? And that was only two years ago, do you think you've recovered enough to get back into the swing of things? Can you honestly say that, when the time comes and your standing at the the top of a ladder, that you'd leap off like you used to? Or do you think you'll be frozen with fear as all your painful memories come back to haunt you? They sound like career threatening injuries, and you've got to be thinking in the back of your head that they could return at any second. That's got to be off putting, hasn't it?"
"But.. if you think your ready, then who am I to judge? I will use it to my advantage though, it would be rude not to. So everytime I hit you with a bulldog I'm going to be hoping for another broken bone, every time I get to hit my hesitation dropkick I'm going to hit it with extra force. And every time I come springing off the ropes with an elbow I'm going to be putting everything into it, because I know it will hurt you more. Then, when I'm finished toying with you, I'm going to hit the Tooti-Fruiti and hope I smash some more of your ribs. Because when you look at your body and remember all your broken bones and see all your scars, you think of them as something to be proud of. I see them for what they truely are, weaknesses, and I'm going to do everything I can to expose them! Hardy, Maddox whatever problem you've got between you can wait, because at Disorder it's my turn to have the spotlight on me, and it's my turn to finally put my feud with Maddox to rest. I'll see you all soon!"
She cracks a weak smile as the scene slowly fades to black.
