Ladies and Gentlemen of PW,
Happy Saturday to you all. While I sit here and type, not with a heavy heart, but a disappointed one, I must inform you all that I (Eric - handler of Hardy, Demensia (though you never got to see her), and "One Bad Mo****Fu****" Jackson Davis) must leave Prestige Wrestling.
This just isn't the place for me. I gave it a shot. When I joined I was excited for this place. Then the fedhead left for two weeks with no notice or anything. So I went out after a week of absolutely 0 activity on the board I went out and looked for another home. I found one, and then left it two weeks later when the fedhead here returned. Honestly, that was a mistake. I should have stayed in the other fed and I'm heading back there.
I don't mean to speak ill of Israel Reed. He and Sanzone have been more than receptive of helping me change my character when Davis wasn't working out. The problem is, I don't feel respected here and I'm not entirely sure that I like the way things are panning out.
I offered when I first came in to help write results. I was thanked but never offered any help, and honestly I can say it's a good thing. In my prime when I was a fedhead, I used to write single matches that were longer than Disorder. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of the results in this fed, and if I were to ever write a match like the ones I've seen here for main events, you best believe one of the people no-showed. The longest main event I've ever written for results was a 60 minute timelimit match. The match "ran" 58 minutes. It was 13 printed pages long. The matches that are written here in reality would be about four minutes long.
Speaking of results, I'm a little bitter about the way I've been written into them. First of all, I volunteered to be judged against any person whose opponent no-showed two weeks ago. Without looking back, I believe there was plenty of opportunity for that. Instead, I was thrust into a feud which I 1) didn't want and 2) wasn't ready for, against Mike Maddox. Then on this last Disorder, all four of us RP'ed and all four of us put in fantastic and very very level, even RP's compared to each other. Yet, what happened in the results? Maddox and I got completely squashed. For absolutely no reason.
All that does is make me not want to RP here anymore. If I'm going to meet exactly what my opponents put in, and yet I don't get in a single offensive move? Who am I, Mikey fucking Whipwreck? That's simply not cool, and I didn't appreciate it. I understood the Maddox walking out on me result and I was fine with that. But the way the match led up to that left me less than impressed and with a sour taste in my mouth.
Therefore, with that I'm going to bow out of Prestige Wrestling. I will take my talent elsewhere where it's appreciated and used properly.
By the time any of you read this my account will be de-activated.
Honestly, though, it's not like it matters. This fed honestly won't last more than 6 months. Things just aren't good here. There's minimal activity, un-original characters for the most part, and not very good management. I can already see that favorites are being played and that means that a fed will never last more than a few months.
But good luck to you all. Especially all of you who aren't "the chosen ones."
Sincerely,
-Eric
