PRESTIGE WRESTLING
The scene slowly fades in and we hear a buzzing sound of old broken down air-conditioning somewhere behind the camera that drowns out any other noise in the seemingly small room we find the scene beginning in. After a few moments the camera begins to move and as it pans around we find that we’re in a warehouse of some kind.
The cameras are looking around trying to figure out their location when they pass by some various bags lying about the floor, a door that the camera passes over marked ‘SHOWERS’ and finally a second door which the camera begins to move toward. We hear the sound of footsteps as the person holding the camera walks out of the room and down a very plain looking corridor, not stopping for long enough to focus on the various pictures hanging from the walls, most of which seem to be paintings resembling forests and fields, old and unfixable. Then we hear more chattering and hard breathing as he obviously sets the camera up on a stand and it remains transfixed on the gym environment below. It's Daniel Ballentine, he is training for his up and coming match here in Prestige Wrestling.

I live for pay per views. I become a new animal when it's the best event of that month. Every match is full intensity. The spots lights are brighter, the crowd is rowdier.. I mean like Seriously, it is like the greatest time of the year for me when we’re approaching a pay per view and not only because I’m undefeated coming in but last week I beat the 'So-Called' Prestige World Champion. See whenever I step out there in front of the cameras on a big pay per view weekend I feel this, like, tingle I guess of excitement and stuff and it totally drives me to fight so much way harder than I would normally, you know? I guess a major reason for that is that for the last few months every time I've stepped out in front of those big pay per view cameras with the huge lights shining down and everybody paying to watch me there’s been something else that’s made it even more exciting, the man with a plan and the man who will build Prestige Wrestling into greatness.. I am Daniel Ballentine.
The camera moves slightly and begins to zoom in and we see a young man, probably in his mid-twenties, lying on a bench and bench pressing a bar weight with considerably large sized weight plates on either end. The man we’re focused in on seems to be a power lifter just solely based on his physical appearance – he has thick shoulders, huge biceps and triceps and arms and legs as thick as his head.
As you can see, I am not the only one here. I am with the future of Pro Wrestling. Hayden LaCroix, his Wife Ms. Remy LaCroix and over there far on the other side is.. Landon Windsor. All future stars. We come to Remy's grandfathers abandon now but his old gym. We gather here once or twice a week and discuss our previous matches and encounters with people. This is why Last week on Disorder, the entire world saw something they never thought would happen. I challenged the PW World Champion. Which happens, I might add on a few occasions but not only did I challenge him, I shocked the world of wrestling. I am now gonna challenge either The Enforcer or Corey Benjamin next for the Prestige Heavy Weight Championship. Now I know what people say about me behind my back when it comes to earning this title shot but all I have to say.. is NOTHING. That's right, I know I've earned it and that's all what matters. I prove my worth and I back up everything I do. I have to.. Look at these wrestlers, they look up too me, I am the leader and I am the man who will crush everyone on the roster here in Prestige Wrestling!
So anyways, I know everybody thinks I’m this rookie trying to piss in the cheerios of the rest of the roster but you are wrong. So wrong. I am here to evolve. Once I accomplish this goal, I will make everyone here evolve also. But first thing is first. I have a match, yes my first PPV match here in Prestige Wrestling like everyone else does. I am facing a man new to the promotion. Shawn Payne, A Unknown man that can upset the greatest wrestler to step foot in Prestige Wrestling; And I honor all those things said about me. But this unknown man is a mystery. Who knows what he is up too, what bad of tricks does he have.
You see Mr. Payne, Like everyone mediocre wrestler here.. You want to know what Daniel Ballentine has to offer, why everyone is so.. high on me here. I say take a look at everything I've done lately, if I don’t deserve to be the next main event superstar here, then who does? Scorpion? Maddox? Yeah, like I said. I am the new man but also the most hated man right now in Prestige Wrestling. I work hard to earn the monikers they give me.
I've had one match and I understand why the world of wrestling feel's it means nothing and I didn't really win but I've beaten the best here already and not like fluke one time pin and stuff like that. Nuh-uh, I've been totally dominant in this promotion and I've kicked all kinds of ass in the past.
I guess I could list all the wrestlers or entertainers, whatever they call us these days.. But I've beaten while my days in pro wrestling but that would take all night and I just don’t have the time for it so I’d rather concentrate on way more important things, My match against you Shawn.. This is it for you. Shine bright or fade to black. Which will it be for you?
The man he’s identified as Hayden LaCroix a PW rookie replaces the barbell back on its rack and sits up on the bench and we see that he’s got blonde hair, a rugged jaw line and muscles in places that most people don’t even have places. Last week he beaten a man who he knew he would beat but was almost screwed in the end. Rick Man. But again, we prevail so it's all good in the house.
You see Shawn, Some wrestlers are still way young, talented for our own good and still looking for our big break that puts them in the top tier of the company, and I’m not just talking about the pay brackets either, although it is totally unfair how much I get paid compared to some people. But oh well.. So, anyways, I’m talking about the respect you get when you’re way high up the show and everybody has to wait for your match. The PPV is like.. (pause) It’s like nobody can change the channel because they really want to see your match so they just keep watching the show and watching the show until you’re on because they’re so way afraid if they turn over they’ll miss it, right? That’s totally what facing Daniel Ballentine is like. No one will change the channel but they know the outcome. Being in the way with me is like a scary movie, regardless of how many times you've seen this before, the ending is still the same. Daniel Ballentine, winner, Shawn Payne.. loser..
But winning isn't enough, I want that power of knowing people are waiting for me each and every night. I want my face on the poster and I want my name on every marquee where the best of the best have theirs. Prestige Hall Of Fame. Facing me, Shawn, you name can be there. But not right now.
Now I don't expect much out of you but don't let these losers brain wash you. They feel I am way too much and I am out of mind.. Plus then there’s this whole thing about proving ourselves or whatever, and I’m like hello what more can I POSSIBLY prove to anybody? I beat the WORLD CHAMPION.. So try to counter me, try to get under my skin.. do whatever it takes.. and I will shut you down. I am known for that. because When I need to win matches I have always find my way; I am the most dominant wrestler.. checking off the competition. Shawn, you are next and you can't stop it but try to contain it.. See you soon..
And with that the feed fades
