RESTITUTION; Somebody's Going to Pay
Prestige Wrestling RP 002

Victory Is Sweet
The beginning of Disorder had begun but the night was already over for Corey Benjamin who in an unrecorded dark match was victorious over two other competitors. He was disappointed knowing it was only a dark match but the fans in the arena had gotten to see it and hopefully it was enough to create a buzz about him. He knew winning the match would set him up for a good career in Prestige and was in the moment as he walked through the curtain to dead to the back.
He had sweat dripping from him and was handed a towel by a friend in the form of Brooke Kennedy, who was also the ring announcer for Disorder. She was on her way to the ring for the show and knew Corey was just finished with his match. She handed him a towel as he patted the sweat away.
♡Brooke Kennedy♡
"Well a congratulations is in order mister."

Corey Benjamin
"Thanks, I am just looking forward to being out in the ring next week and actually be apart of the show. This dark match shit just isn't for me."
♡Brooke Kennedy♡
"We don't always agree but this time I have to admit you're right, you don't belong in dark matches. You belong in championship matches."

Corey Benjamin
"More than that Santa Claus guy. Speaking of championship matches, I heard about Tyler's match against Black Man at Meltdown. How is he holding up after the loss? "
♡Brooke Kennedy♡
"He was calm, but calm in the sense of I am scared to know what he is thinking. He hasn't been talking to me since the show."
She allowed herself to show she was upset about it. She cared for him but didn't know how to handle him. Corey tried his best to comfort her.

Corey Benjamin
"Loses happen, and Ty has had a few in his career. He always bounces back. I am sure he won't stay down for long. Just has to hit the bottom before he bounces back up."
♡Brooke Kennedy♡
"Yeah it's that bottom part that worries me, he already takes his drinking to extremes."
⚜The Hard Livin' Hard Hittin'⚜
Corey Benjamin
"Ty will figure it out sooner than you think. I have been around him a long time and I trust he will be okay. He'll just need to vent a little."
♡Brooke Kennedy♡
"Okay, we'll just have to see."
She didn't want to talk about it much anymore.

"So Anyways, How about we go grab a celebratory drink. Forget both our problems and relax."
She agreed as they walked away as the audio became hard to hear. Corey was coming off a great victory but wasn't prepared for the let down he was about to face in the coming days.

He expresses loudly before punching the hitting bag hanging in front of him, Corey Benjamin was fuming. After winning the battle royal before Disorder last week and he is still excluded from the next show. He was told that after winning that rumble that he would be scheduled in a match the following Disorder which did not happen. He continued an assault on the defenseless object as he utter words under his breathe just loud enough to be heard.
Corey Benjamin was in a small gym made from old gray bricks and had big windows allowing sunshine to light up the interior. There was an area with a weight tree and a few weight benches. There was a boxing ring in the very center that looked as if it has seen it's fair share of days.
Corey was in an opposite corner from us where a punching bag was chained to the ceiling. He was doing a serious number on it as he yelled out. Loud enough to echo numerous times throughout the gym.
I T S F U C K I N G B U L L S H I T!
"I cannot believe that after winning that poor excuse for a battle royal they would stiff me like that. Who the fuck do they think they are?! I have done nothing but constantly try and show them that I deserve to be on the card with the rest of the wrestler's that they hold so high. I don't think it was wise to screw me over Mr. Sanzone, Mr. Reed.... whoever the hell decided that they were going to cheat me out of appearing on Disorder. I am not some bitch who you can toy with and keep locked outside. When I want in, I'll just kick the fucking door in.... No body screws with me! Get that straight!"
He had set up a camera on a nearby weight rack and had propped it up in just the right spot to catch him laying into the punching page. The only thing harder than his words was the punches he was landing to the bag. He gave it a hit after a hit and continued to unleash his aggression as he looked over to the camera.
"Did you think about what you were doing before you decided to do something as stupid as you did? I didn't think you would. That's going to cost you and it's going to cost you big time. You think that it would come without a price? Because... Well, somebody has to pay. Restitution in the form of the Global Heavyweight Championship. Yes, you heard me correctly. Isreal Reed thought it would be a good idea to give anybody contracted by Prestige a chance at the title on Disorder. Talk about not planning things through. After doing me wrong, you didn't think that I wouldn't use this as payback."
The hits to the bag seemed to increase in intensity. He wasn't even trying to mask the level of his anger towards the situation but seemed pleased with his solution of entering the Fight or Flight main event at Disorder.
"And after I take the championship, the management here will have no other option but to pay me my due respect. Which means I will go through whoever decides to get involved. Santa Claus, Jackson Davis, The Enforcer, whoever it may be. Look around and you will see people all around who constantly are underestimated. Constantly cast aside because society has a standard and those who don't fit the mold are considered the underdogs."
"When I was at Disorder last week after my match I watched the show from the back thinking about this week and how much it was going to mean to be in the ring on the actual show, not some dark match time killer. And while I watched the show, I saw past my colleges and looked at the audience and it was apparent that while they were happy to see Prestige live, they were missing a something. Then it hit me during the main event. They needed a champion for them, a champion for the underdogs! Not some jolly fat bastard who creeps through our houses and eats our cookies and ditches."
Corey takes another swing at the bag and hits is so hard that is causes the chain to send a chilling sound echoing through the small gym.
"I don't have time or patience to run through the list of reasons that Santa hasn't a chance against me. Not only does the fact that he's five hundred pounds over weight, did anybody think that he is likely to die of diabetes in the ring. The only thing he'll be fighting for is an insulin shot. I can say that I hate to beat his ass in the ring in front of all the kids that watch our programming but what better way to learn the truth about Santa than seeing him get his ass handed to him. I like Christmas as much as the next person but Santa, just like Christmas at a retail story in December, you've overstayed your welcome. You need to stick to the toys and elves and leave professional wrestling to us. So after I take that championship you jokily go a hold of, go back to the North Pole where you belong. "
He unleashed the last of his fury as he wiped the sweat from his face. He grabbed a nearby towel and dabbed the sweet off as he walked to the camera to shut it off.
________________
Now that his name was officially signed up for the match there was no turning back. He was now setting himself up to go places in Prestige. The question still remains on who else will be apart of this match and to what caliber will they be.
A man in Corey's shoes was a dangerous foe to come face to face with and anybody else signing up will have more than a hard fought match on their hands.
